[edit]So, the 1973 election was for the State Council; the 1974 election was for Legislative Assembly, L.D. Kazi became chief minister and changed political affiliation five times, was defeated badly in the next election of 1979. From chapter 8 of some unidentified book, chapter written by AC Sinha.
