A shorter article title?
[edit]Am I the only one who thinks the article title is a little lengthy? As an alternative, how about "List of unopened Las Vegas casinos"? The current title just seems like it uses more words than it needs to. AJFU (talk) 00:05, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
- @AJFU "List of failed Las Vegas casino projects" ? 3MRB1 (talk) 01:26, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- That could work. I'd also be in favor of List of canceled Las Vegas casinos, which is a bit more concise. AJFU (talk) 16:59, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- @AJFU List of abandoned Las Vegas casino developments? They were never "Casino", just plans, and "cancel" has a more recent meaning. More cogent ideas? 3MRB1 (talk) 22:18, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- List of Las Vegas casinos never built? 3MRB1 (talk) 22:22, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
'cancel' has a more recent meaning
. Can you please clarify? AJFU (talk) 16:44, 14 March 2024 (UTC)- @AJFU louis ck... weinstein... ellen dg... 3MRB1 (talk) 18:55, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
- I don't understand the significance of these names. To be clearer, I was wondering why "canceled" won't work in the page title. AJFU (talk) 16:19, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- @AJFU Cancel culture 3MRB1 (talk) 17:16, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does have other articles with "canceled"/"cancelled" in the title, apparently without any issues or confusion relating to this newer meaning of the word. Do you still oppose "canceled Las Vegas casinos"? AJFU (talk) 15:41, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

Orphaned references in List of Las Vegas casinos that never opened
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Las Vegas casinos that never opened's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 15:35, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
