busyness
[edit]A station can be busy because lots of people change there, not just because of the number of entries and exits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.136.227.151 (talk) 15:50, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
Split / merge articles
[edit]@MRSC I appreciate the need to keep this article succinct and not have giant tables, however having three very similar named articles (this one, List of busiest London Underground stations (2019) and List of busiest London Underground stations (2020) looks confusing. Maybe they could be merged/split into a 2000-2009 version, 2010-2019 version, and in due course we have a 2020-2029 version! (Looks like station level data is available back to around 2003?) - The problem is the list changes each year to such an extent that completely different stations appear in the list. So the history you have linked to is the 2012 data with the usage history of stations in the top 18 of 2012. It does not show (even though it might appear to) the full rankings for 2004-2011. This situation is made worse by COVID as travel patterns changed dramatically between years. MRSC (talk) 16:49, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- Then for the 2000-2009, 2010-2019 versions there could be any station that was over 10 million in that time period.
- Obviously 2020 and 2021 are going to be weird outliers in the grand scheme of things. Turini2 (talk) 17:16, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
