I suggest the title be moved to "List of biographical dictionaries of female writers" ("female" is an adjective whereas "women" isn't). -- TyrS  chatties  03:54, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Light Oppose. Sorry, I'm against this because most of those biographies use the word Women, which I happen to find more elegant, for that matter. Even though you are right about the nature of those words and I think I spotted a (recent?) debate about this issue somewhere on Wp. Female is more usually adjective. However, to use 2 nouns in apposition is perfectly as acceptable from a syntactic point of view. Hope you’ll agree[1].Greetings,--Lee P. (talk) 08:54, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
