Source?
[edit]This list has been tagged since January as lacking a source reference, yet the article claims "as of June 2014". Where are these figures from? Btljs (talk) 17:53, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- I've been bold and removed the list from below 1M sales (these are verifiable via OCC). If anybody has the original source, then it can be put back, otherwise there is no way to edit this against new information as it comes up. There are lots of forums where people put up lists of sales but they are not valid for WP and my guess is that these figures come from one of these. Inline comments on sales calculations
[edit]I've added inline comments on any calculations that have been carried out to get the sales figures because I find it really hard to keep track otherwise. If someone comes along and posts up a more recent sales figure there's a temptation to change all the songs above it as well whereas only sources from before the source for the whole chart (19 June 2015) can cause this 'ripple' effect because we don't know if a song has been leapfrogged after that date.Btljs (talk) 13:24, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
Update for decade-end
[edit]The official charts have just released decade-end combined sales chart for the 2010s here.
No sign of calculations or figures yet though, so I don't really know what we want to do with this?
