Soompi awards?

Should they be included now? They were not notable until 2017, but someone on BTS awards article has make a good point, awards are pretty much notable now since they are apparently not solely fan voted (chart ranking/sales is used for results as well), they held a ceremony and artists received physical trophies. Also, several reliable sources announced the winners, which makes the awards pass WP:GNG, for example Koreaherald, Yonhap News, Yibada, IB Times, koreaportal.com etc. Snowflake91 (talk) 11:10, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Soompi itself is classified as an unreliable source by WikiProject Korea. I think we should have a consensus there before deciding whether or not we should include Soompi Awards here. — Simon (talk) 15:52, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Anyways, @Snowflake91:, I am not clear about the term "shortlisted" vs. "nominated" for the Mnet Awards. — Simon (talk) 15:52, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Is there a reliable source for this? I tried to search but no luck, the award was missing from SNSD awards article so I added it, it is also in this article but without a source, I found only one user blog from Naver about that. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:27, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
I've added them anyway, since the 2017 edition the awards clearly passes WP:GNG with decent coverage in several reliable media outlets, they are definitely more notable than some other awards listed in the section, like "Fandom School Awards", "KAZZ Awards", "Naver Fashion Beauty x Celeb's Pick" etc. Snowflake91 (talk) 13:54, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
