[edit]Hello,
I wanted to make it the same way as it is in "List of awards and nominations received by Phil Collins". If there is any mistake, I'll hope it will be corrected. Thanks.
Possibly missing sources
[edit]Hello, I'm the one who has edited some things recently.
1 Grammy Awards:
http://www.awardsandshows.com/grammy-awards.html
Some years ago, there were some sites on the internet with all nominations and wins since the beginning (1959). Unfortunately most of those sites have been taken down. There is just this site. Because of the authenticity of these facts I have linked all these nominations and wins with the suitable wikipedia articles. So all wins and most of these nominations are in other wikipedia articles as well. Except of the nomination for "Pop Vocal Group" for "I Can't Dance" all other nominations could be found in the primary Grammy-related articles from wikipedia. But anyway, this mentioned nomination for "I Can't Dance" is correct!
2 American Music Awards:
http://www.rockonthenet.com/amas/index.htm
Almost the same as in "3 Grammy Awards". All nominations and wins can be found in the primary wikipedia articles about these special ceremonies. If on this article there are no special albums or singles named (e.g. in the "Favorite Group" categories), I've put in the column "nomination" the respective albums or singles, for which these nominations stand for (e.g. Invisible Touch for "Favorite Group"-nominee, etc.), because it is definitely clear for which album Genesis were nominated in 1986.
3 Brit Awards:
http://www.brits.co.uk/artist/genesis http://www.brits.co.uk/artist/hugh-padgham
All wins can be found on the main URLs of the Brit Awards respective ceremonies. But if you look to the links of about Genesis and Hugh Padgham on the Brit Awards, you can find the nominations too. Apart from that, like in "2 American Music Awards", if there are no albums or singles be named in the column "nomination", I have put in the suitable albums or singles for which these special nominations stand for (e.g. We Can't Dance for "Britsh Album"-nominee and "Jesus He Knows Me" for "British Video"-nominee. By the way, I saw a video Noami Campbell presenting the award for "Best British Video" in 1993 when Genesis were nominated. She named "Jesus He Knows Me" as a nomination.).
4 and 5 (MTV Video Music Awards, Hall of Fame)
http://www.rockonthenet.com/mtvvma/index.htm http://rockhall.com/inductees/genesis/
All nominations and wins could be found on these reliable sites and on the main articles in wikipedia.
If someone put these sources in the right format, this someone would be welcome.
