Discovery

[edit]

Isn't the Space_Shuttle_Discovery at the Steven_F._Udvar-Hazy_Center now? Also, it seems odd that there is no content on this talk page. Robert Munafo (talk) 06:53, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Discovery is arguably better classified as a spacecraft than an aircraft.--RadioFan (talk) 02:39, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is in that building. I was there this summer.

The shuttle had wings that created lift, so it's an aircraft; A spacecraft and an aircraft. And the reason it existed, obviously.Brian-L (talk) 22:11, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Previously displayed aircraft?

[edit]

Considering they rotate aircraft in and out of display, there needs to be a new section with previously displayed aircraft, since most of them should end up back on display some day. But even for the ones that were on loan and thus won't be displayed again, it's interesting to see what has been displayed in the past.Brian-L (talk) 22:13, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
