There are not PAF Aircrafts

Cobra Helicopters are not belong to Pakistan AirForce...They are under use of Pakistan Army Aviation.

Infobox

The Military of Pakistan infobox appears to have no direct relationship with the article and I suggest it should be removed and/or replaced with something more appropriate - any comment please. MilborneOne (talk) 21:10, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

yeah, that infobox has no business being there, which is why i removed it. cheers. Cheese1125 (talk) 22:45, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Two articles about the same thing?

I'm not sure I have the authority to delete an article (haha, as a matter of fact, I don't know how), but either "List of aircraft of the Pakistani Air Force" OR "List of aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force" needs to be deleted. They're so similar that it doesn't even matter which one gets removed. Cheese1125 (talk) 22:47, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

The "List of aircraft of the Pakistani air force" should to be deleted. The title of the article should be "List of aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force". The name of the air force is "Pakistan Air Force", not "Pakistani Air Force" Hj108 (talk) 20:45, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

we need pictures of the air craft

there are no pictures of the aircraft show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Midgetman433 (talkcontribs) 18:54, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

F-16s issue

Re: [1] Moved from User_talk:Maxx786.

  • First
Agreement signed in March 2010 with United States for an additional 14 F-16s to be delivered by December 2012.
U.S. to provide 14 F-16 jet planes to Pakistan.News.xinhuanet.com (2010-03-27). Retrieved on 2012-07-01.

This source does not mention about "signing agreement". Only "The United States has agreed to provide another 14 F-16 jet planes to Pakistan till December this year". You can't tell if it's order, plan, either new or used - especially if it's Block 52, no word about delivery in December 2012. The most importent - there was no notification on www.dsca.osd.mil, so sale hasn't been concluded. Three years later it's very unclear.

  • Second
Pakistan receives F-16 planes from US - Pakistan received on Monday the last of the 18 ‘new buy’ F-16 fighter jets,
marking the conclusion of one part of the defence deal that is often flaunted as the icon of post-9/11 bilateral re-engagement.

[2] This source clarify it is F-16D block 52 airframe #10801 - first D-model produced in 2009, kept for testing & trials. It's not another 36th, it's 18th delivered.

  • Third
Letter of agreement for up to 45 F-16A/B Block 15 models with F100-PW-200 engines signed in December 1981
F-16 Air Forces – Pakistan. F-16.net. Retrieved on 2012-07-01

In the source: "Peace Gate I - In December 1981, the government of Pakistan signed a letter of agreement for the purchase of up to 40 F-16A/B (28 F-16A and 12 F-16B) fighters for the Pakistan Fiza'ya (Pakistan Air Force, or PAF)". --SojerPL (talk) 14:29, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Request for Semi-protection

Hi, As you can see, this page being related to Pakistan Air Force aircraft inventory is continuously being disrupted by 'fanboys' using unregistered IP's. Disruption is mostly in the form of inflation of numbers/ numbers vandalism and unsourced content. There is hardly an edit (by those IPs) which may be sourced or productive. So, I request semi-protection (or any appropriate protection) for this page for a long duration to protect its (already present) sourced content ...Thanks Maxx786 (talk) 06:53, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Not done if you want a page to be considered for protection, please apply at WP:requests for page protection - Arjayay (talk) 12:12, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Green tickY I have protected the page to encourage you all to come to consensus rather than edit war. MilborneOne (talk) 15:22, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Removal of images and flags

User:Steelpillow had removed all aircraft images and flags. I have reverted back to old version. All edits and removal of images were done without consensus on talk page of the article. Faraz (talk) 00:57, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

I have replied to this on the Project talk page at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aviation#List of aircraft of X Air Force/Military table formats, especially as related to images. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 09:50, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Content of the Notes

I think there is far too much material in the Notes column of this list, so I have started a discussion about it here. Please make any comments in that discussion. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 20:59, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
