List organisation

I think there should be two CLEAR AND COMPREHENSIBLE lists: one for Microsoft Games Group and one for Xbox Games Studios. I support the spirit of this nom. Even going back to the earliest revisions of this page, it seems it's always been intended to capture the full breadth of games published by Microsoft, whether the publishing entity was known at the time as "Microsoft Studios", "Microsoft Games", "Xbox Game Studios", or whatever. However, I think I would prefer the title List of video games published by Microsoft, since the scope of "List of Microsoft video games" is more ambiguous. (Compare List of Nintendo games, which redirects to Lists of games on Nintendo consoles) Colin M (talk) 16:03, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support List of video games published by Microsoft - while a bit lengthy for my preference, it gets the point across. This also resolves the question of whether we should respect the reasoning in the RM above which notes consistency with similar articles, by pointing out that "List of Microsoft video games" is in some way ambiguous on its own. Adding "published" also resolves ambiguity with Microsoft's other offerings, for example the EA games available through game pass, which some might assume would fit in the list under the broadened scope of the new title otherwise as they are being "offered" by Microsoft in a sense. Microsoft Gaming or Xbox Game Studios?

so Microsoft owns ZeniMax and they are in the process of acquiring Activision Blizzard King. Should we list new games from these publisher in this page? for example Hi-Fi Rush is a new game by Tango and published by Bethesda Softworks, but it's in the list.
