Canadian English
[edit]The spelling standard I have started with is the natural one for me, Canadian. You can maintain that, or change it by consensus, or have no particular standard at all. Varlaam (talk) 14:34, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
Unknown Mussolini cartoon
[edit]About a decade ago, when I was doing a lot of research for the IMDb, I saw a documentary which included a short clip from a black-and-white animated cartoon mocking Mussolini. I didn't recognize the animation style, and the documentary didn't identify the source.
For some reason I can't remember, I think the cartoon may have been British. In the past decade I have come across no description of any film that matches this clip.
Does anyone recognize it?
Mussolini alone. No Nazis.
Varlaam (talk) 03:47, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
I might have found the film you're looking for, it's called "Il Duce Dictates" and it seems to meet most of the criteria for the cartoon you're looking for. It's in black-and-white, Mussolini only, no Nazis (except near the end when Mussiolini flys on a Nazi German flag) However, it's not made in Britian, it's made in Greece and it's the first cartoon ever made in Greece. You can see the cartoon by clicking here.

Links
[edit]The page originator needs to update their links. For example, "Herr Meets Hare" is no longer on YouTube. NBK1122 (talk) 19:17, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
- I am not your servant.
- The page author does not have the slightest interest in updating his links. That's way beyond trivial and can be done by any user. It doesn't need to be me.
- If a film's old incarnation at YouTube is gone, then find its newest one.
- Posters at YouTube often disguise the presence of videos so they don't get deleted.
- If it is really not there, check the other video sites on line. The names of some others already appear in the article.
- If you really can't find it, then mark the film with the "dead link" tag. WP:DEADLINK. Then someone else can hunt around for it.
- Good luck, Varlaam (talk) 05:24, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

War Cartoon № 4
[edit]So, if Hitler Dances to Stalin's Tune was № 4, what were the first 3? Varlaam (talk) 19:13, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
IMDb / BCDB column
[edit]I have started setting up that column to provide better sourcing.
My intention is to provide these links on redlinks only.
Someone can then write the missing article, and the sourcing shifts there to the new article.
Other reputable sites can go into that column. The Russian animation site is a good one, for example.
