Racewalk Records

[edit]

I deleted the racewalk records from this page. I had based my contributions to this page originally on the masters records, which included racewalks. As I researched the walk records, first I found them to be out of date and incomplete. Apparently they were classified based on whether they took place on the track vs on the road (a loop course), track records the only ones appearing in the original list. That does not equate with the way Masters conducts its meets, long walks are normally held non-stadia (outside of the stadium) on a road loop course. It would be misleading to exclude those marks from common events in favor of inferior, track only marks.

As I edit this page, I get warnings that the page is too long, so eliminating the walks reduces the size of the page. I'll add them back later, from a separate linked page. Trackinfo (talk) 07:13, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
