Classes
[edit]Where can I find an explanation of the terms "Class 1" and "Class 3"? --Keeves 03:03, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I figured it out. I'll add links in a few minutes... --Keeves 03:06, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Robert Taft
[edit]Where is Robert Alphonso Taft, Ohio U.S. senator 1939-1953 ? Htideman (talk) 01:53, 30 September 2011 (UTC) henry tideman, htideman@yahoo.com
- Robert Taft is there — in the second group called, "Class 3".—GoldRingChip 02:08, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Sherrod Brown?
[edit]Someone ought to add Sherrod Brown, no? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.108.82.79 (talk) 18:16, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
- Already done by another editor.--Mr. Guye (talk) 18:15, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
Warren Harding in 1920
[edit]I find regarding 1920:
Retired to run for U.S. President.
Resigned to become U.S. President.
I do not understand "Retired". Other sitting Senators have run for President and Vice President. Carlm0404 (talk) 06:44, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- Retired as in did not run for re-election because he ran for President instead. However, he also resigned before his term actually ended. In comparison, if you look at Delaware in 2008, Joe Biden was re-elected Senator but resigned to become Vice President (though the comparison isn't perfect because Biden started his new term, while Harding resigned before his previous term ended).
