Maynard James Keenan
[edit]I think Keenan should be removed, it says that he never attended USMA. He is certainly a USMAPS alumni, but not USMA. You wouldn't include everyone who got accepted to a civil university and decided not to attend in that school's alumni list -- it's the same basic concept here in my opinion. - The lead clearly says "and cadet candidates", which means USMA Prep students, which Keenan was. — Rlevse • Talk • 19:33, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't see that before, but it seems to contradict the title of the article. USMAPS alumni are not USMA alumni. I think that including them is equivalent to including people who were accepted to the Academy and received an appointment, but chose not to attend. I think he should be moved to an alumni list in the USMAPS article. I can understand the desire to include him, because it seems fairly unusual and he is pretty well known so it is interesting, but he is the only non-USMA alumni, which means that the "cadet candidates" criterion makes a sole exception for him. - I think this makes more sense than all those alumni lists that include fictional alumni. — Rlevse • Talk • 21:01, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
