Multiple seats represented?

[edit]

Interesting list, but I’m guessing it’s only noting the last constituency represented by a prime minister? For example, Heath represented two constituencies during his tenure as PM, owing to boundaries. Shouldn’t both be listed? — TrottieTrue (talk) 11:44, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I can now see this is the case. Ignore. But how about adding some more stats? — TrottieTrue (talk) 11:46, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Trivial

[edit]

This list seems to me to be a piece of trivia, as evidenced by fact that it is orphaned, with no links at all from article space despite being several years old.

Not anyone want to make a case for it having some encyclopedic merit, or should I just nominate it at WP:AFD? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:09, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it was discussed on the WP Parliament project page, and the consensus was to keep it. I would suggest it is more useful than many lists, since it is useful, for example, to researchers seeing which counties have had high levels of prime ministerial representation.--Wehwalt (talk) 14:47, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. I notice no single constituency listed was represented by more than one individual serving PM, all on the mainland of Great Britain. Six were in Scotland, three in Wales, the rest in England. Cloptonson (talk) 20:54, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of peerages held by Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 15:33, 20 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
