Talk:List of Ukrainians of Russian ethnicity
Tchaikovsky - I can't understand his Ukrainianess. he wasn't born in Ukraine, He didn't live in Ukraine. He didn't work in Ukraine. He didn't speak Ukrainian. --Bandurist 04:59, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
It may be better to seperate some of these Russians. MAny of them have little in common with Ukraine only living there for brief periods of time. It may be better to have a list of those born in Ukrain and theose who moved there. Bandurist 02:16, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- I would not worry too much. Lists are often collections of various funcruft and fancruft and are subject to the edit war for inclusions and exclusions. I long since unwatchlisted List of Ukrainians. Since this list is not a part of the reasonably developed Russians in Ukraine article, this list's issues are rather harmless. --Irpen 02:19, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
A lot of the -ov names from Kharkiv could have been ethnicaly Ukrainian. Ther are many example of people such as Mykola Drimchenko who became the rector of the Kharkiv conservatory under the name of Demtsov. More investigation is needed. Bandurist 13:29, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- But that's in no way a reason to remove the whole page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.115.97.253 (talk) 14:28, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
And why is this page protected on this version? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.120.135.112 (talk) 07:04, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Why was the list removed and redirected to a list of Ukrainians?
[edit]Is this another political attempt to claim that Russians don't exist in Ukraine? 77.125.217.248 (talk) 23:05, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
