Y.-F.Felequenco
[edit]Somebody has removed several times the entry for Y.-F.Felequenco.
If somebody has reason(s) why Felequenco should not be listed here, please argue them here, instead of vandalising the List of Canadian Ukrainians —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.68.47 (talk) 11:42, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- As I've stated on your talk page, Felequenco doesn't belong on the list because this entry doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability requirements, and with no cited references, the verifiability requirements. Please describe why this person is notable and cite a suitable reference in support.
- In the meantime, please don't continue to edit-war by repeatedly adding unreferenced information to the encyclopedia. —Michael Z. 2008-12-31 23:09 z
- Felequenco is a well-known leader of Ukrainian Quebecois community, he published extensively in the Canadian Ukrainian press in the 1970s. He has every right to be on this List. Is the Ukrainian community leader less "notable" or "verifiable" to you than many obscure entries in the List of Canadian Ukrainians with no Wikipedia pages? Why do you think that a "model" or a "businessman" or even a school superindendent(!) with remote relations to Ukraine should be on this List (and they are!), while a leader of the Canadian Ukrainian local community should not???! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.68.47 (talk) 10:57, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Akim Aliu (ice hockey)
[edit]Akim Aliu should probably be included here as he explicitly identifies as Ukrainian Canadian (see article for further information). -2001:14BA:1FFE:6900:9F8:AC5:858F:8645 (talk) 02:12, 13 November 2017 (UTC)

Luba should be on the list of notable Ukrainian Canadians
[edit]Canadian singer Luba which already has her own Wikipedia page, [(singer)], is of Ukrainian descent.
I would add her to the list but I cannot because the list is semi-protected.
Can someone with sufficient privileges add her to the list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marktwain1899 (talk • contribs) 16:35, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Proposal to please add the country singer Jess Moskaluke (she has a Wikipedia entry) to this page in the Musicians section, with the additional explanatory comment "(of Roman Catholic religion)" added in exactly the same way as "(of Jewish religion)" is added after the Ukrainian-Canadian actors Seth Rogen and William Shatner. Jess Moskaluke is of Ukrainian-German heritage, as is shown in great detail on the website https://ethnicelebs.com/jess-moskaluke. Thank you. 208.80.97.117 (talk) 07:21, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
