13 October 1979
[edit]There were two charts released this week to accommodate a speed-up of chart information. Eat to the Beat by Blondie was No.1 on the first and Reggatta de Blanc by The Police was No.1 on the second. Have ammended the page to show this.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 10:25, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- I'll take your word for it, but the article could do with a source explicitly confirming this. Eat to the Beat isn't listed as a 1979 number one on the OCC's website (hence why it wasn't included in this list), and their search facility suggests that it peaked at number two. Most number one albums - error
[edit]Noted that the article currently states (in a text box w/photo) "Rod Stewart (right) released seven number-one albums during this decade, more than any other artist."
I think this is an error, as Led Zeppelin have eight number ones on the list. I thought I would raise here before tweaking (possible that I'm mistaken). Also I don't know to upload a photo.
- Well spotted, now removed. Thanks, A Thousand Doors (talk | contribs) 21:39, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Looks like it's still there. I'd recommend changing the entry to LZ and updating details, as it's an interesting fact/stat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allan Castle (talk • contribs) 21:49, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
