Alert: I've noticed a big error in this table. New Jersey's per captia emissions are given as 26.92, and the population as 3,878,051. I know that New Jersey as over 8 million people and on the EIA website per capita emissions are 12.8. So if this one state is off, I am concerned for the integrity of the entire table. The link to Tableau Public bears me out on the NJ data. I'm a newbie to editing and don't want to risk messing with a table. Not sure what to do and wanted to bring this to your attention. Thanks! As mentioned on another talk page, I found this page to be in dire need of an update and have now done said update. I removed the 'rank' column, because total emissions and per-capita emissions are pretty neck and neck as far as general interest. I also removed the population and % of population columns for being off-topic. I also trimmed a lot of the lead's discussion of the data as it seems to be out of date now. I also updated the map and trimmed some old and duplicate links. Wizmut (talk) 09:06, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
