Amy Adams? Really, people? Really?

[edit]

Y'know what? I'm sick of this. People making completely erroneous statements in articles. Amy Adams playing Miss Frizzle in a live action movie? I smell bullshit; a simple internet search, as well as some digging into underground movie info sites, will reveal that there is NO SUCH PROJECT OCCURRING. I don't care if I'm a head moderator or not, Wikipedia is supposed to be a place of knowledge, not baseless rumors. Trolls be warned: I'm cracking down on all of you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Apollo-kun (talkcontribs) 02:00, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ms. Frizzle

[edit]

We need to add a section on Ms. Frizzle, the bus driver. She is a major character in the series, yet she is not included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.149.197.29 (talk) 13:08, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Voice of female producer in episode "in the haunted house"

[edit]

Susan Blu did not record the lines for the female producer in the episode "in the haunted house." The voice instead is that of Catherine Thompson (Born February 4, 1944) who has done several audiobooks in the 80's and 90's including various "little golden books" audiobooks and videos, as well as several minor rolls in The Jetsons and various other cartoons from the late 60's up to the late 00's. Right now I'm working with some people to try to uncover all of her works, she has several, but not all of them have her name on them. For example, we're not sure that she was on the show Biz Kid$ though she claimed to be, but she has done voices on Bill Nye the Science Guy and has contributed to a plethora of audiobooks in the 80's and early to mid 90's. But we are certain that she recorded the female producer in that one episode of the Majic Schoolbus "In the Haunted House. She's confirmed it, and you can tell it's her from her roll as Black Hole in The Zula Patrol. Blue was mistakenly credited in the episode, but Blu has deconfirmed her appearence in that episode.

Thanks for your time. Wikipedia rocks

How can we be sure that the Asian-American producer and the ghost were the same person? --184.61.168.190 (talk) 23:00, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Someone has covered this, and has reverted my edit. I have since edited the article to mention that others have filled the roll of producers including characters from the episodes or the ghost. Some examples are *Gerri Poveri

  • Mr. Sinew
  • General Araneus

to name a few If you like go ahead and add this if you like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.101.62.73 (talk) 15:32, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Frizzle

[edit]

The article says that Mr. Frizzle exists in "The Magic school Van Se: 1 Ep: 1", but I can find no evidence that him or that supposed episode actually exists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.74.96 (talk) 02:38, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Miss v Ms. for Valerie and Fiona

[edit]

Can we do an analysis over which is more popular to use for the title preceding "Frizzle" for both incarnations?

https://twitter.com/netflix/status/905083345289093120 for example has "Ms." in the captions twice yet the students clearly say "Miss Frizzle" and Valerie clearly says "Miss Fiona", an audible "iss" in both cases with a written "iz" sound (as Ms. is pronounced)

I don't know if this is too minor for sources to have reported on or not.

Also curious if any of the episodes in the new series have commented on how Valerie and Fiona have the same middle name (or if it might be retconned into a compound surname) and if any episodes in the original series alluded to Valerie having siblings. Liz Ard

[edit]

Anyone able to check whether or not Liz is called "The Honourable Liz Ard" in the episode "In a Pickle"? I'm trying to find a minute/second mark. ScratchMarshall (talk) 10:03, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
