Blind Lemon Jefferson belongs on this list. Dr BuzzCzar (talk) 18:50, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing are Mean Gene Kelton, Born in Mississippi but spent most of his career in Texas. Most famous for "My Baby Don't Wear No Panties". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gene_Kelton

Also biggest performer not included is Albert Collins, born in Leona, Texas and lived mostly in Houston. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Collins —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.200.197.51 (talk) 15:20, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To answer the above; Aaron Williams is not notable, Blind Lemon Jefferson is now included in the list, Gene Kelton according to his own article does not play Texas blues, and Albert Collins is included in the list. Thanks. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 16:15, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in List of Texas blues musicians

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of Texas blues musicians's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
