The title of this list gives the impression of an absolute list. There have been many other Tamil films produced/released in 2009 (verifiable from the monthly bulletin of the Film and Television Producers' Guild of South India (FTPG)). Hence the disclaimer note. Am trying find an online link - it doesn't seem that they are online as yet; neither is the list available on the CBFC website (the site is inactive). I shall check with the FTPG officials to see if they are online at all. As of now, I only have access to the print versions, which I can cite.
