All the other "List of <Location> dinosaurs" have a little timeline...do you think maybe this one should have one as well? I would create one myself, but I'd have no idea how. 88.109.23.91 (talk) 20:00, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason why ichnogenera should not be included here?

[edit]

I see that currently the criteria for inclusion say that genera must appear on List of dinosaurs, but there is also a separate List of dinosaur ichnogenera which includes things like dinosaurs known only from fossilized tracks. Is there an argument for excluding the latter from this list, or is this just because the "criteria for inclusion" was written before the ichnogenera were separated into their own article? (they originally did appear on the main list, the ichnogenera page was created following a discussion in September 2010 at Talk:List of dinosaurs#Ichnogenera) Wouldn't someone who came here to learn about South American dinosaurs be potentially interested in the fact that there may have been ankylosaurs like Ligabueichnium in S. America, despite the fact that no non-ichnogenera of ankylosaurs have been found there? Hypnosifl (talk) 22:14, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
