Sources

[edit]

This list should be sourced in accordance with Wikipedia's No Original Research and Verifiability policies. Basically, anyone described by a reliable source as "Scottish" or "Scottish-American" (i.e. as opposed to "of Scottish descent", "Scottish mother", etc.) is on the list. I'll be moving the people I couldn't find anything for here. If you have a reliable source that fits that please restore the names:

Apparently Ben Affleck does have some Scottish ancestry. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Affleck 12.41.255.10 (talk) 16:50, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How can Tommy Hilfiger be a Scottish American if he is an Irish Catholic American???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Carrie Underwood error

[edit]

See [1], a CMT interview in which Carrie Underwood claims her inclusion in this list is an error. So I've removed her, pending further discussion. Dcoetzee 15:03, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
