Jorge Jesus

[edit]

@SLBedit: Hi, I just want to know what you think about what date we will put as Jesus' end of tenure in Benfica, June 4 (Benfica officialy announced to CMVM that they had aborted all contract renewal negotiations with him and started to find a new manager), or the date of the official announcement of the new Benfica coach, or even the date of the official announcement of Jesus at Sporting CP (if that happens before). And all this considering that Benfica will hire the new manager well before June 30. The Replicator (talk) 14:06, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have discussed that at WP:FOOTY. We should only remove it when Jesus signs for a new club or when Benfica signs a new manager, hence the "June 2015" without a specific day. SLBedit (talk) 15:40, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@The Replicator: Should we change departure date to 4 June? SLBedit (talk) 22:45, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@SLBedit: I've read your discussion at WP:FOOTY (Doubt) and as Marco Silva was not fired yet, now I think the most accurate solution is to establish Jesus' exit from Benfica on June 30. The Replicator (talk) 23:08, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
According to the news is no longer Benfica coach. SLBedit (talk) 11:39, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@SLBedit: Well, I don't know. June 5, be it, according to the news. The Replicator (talk) 15:18, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'll say June 4, the date Benfica confirmed to CMVM he wasn't staying, but the day before there were tweets from the Director of Communications already "confirming" his exit. June 30 is a technicality, he's already working at Sporting, preparing their preseason and stuff, while still under Benfica payroll, the next manager will be announced way before that. PS:Can't see why remove the small tag, now the titles are bursting inside the boxes... --Threeohsix (talk) 18:40, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm okay with 4 June. What tag? SLBedit (talk) 00:45, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
