Alexandru Flechtenmacher was a Romanian composer, albeit of German ancestry. He was born in the Romanian principalities, was a citizen of the Romanian principalities and worked in Romania. The (deleted) statement that he was not a Romanian composer is simply racist.Afil (talk) 06:14, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to be a list of composers of Classical music. It should be stated. There were many more famous Romanian composers of other genres (stage theatre, film, musicals, operettas, revues, light/pop music etc)
