Merge with individual character articles

Neither of the River City characters introduced in 2006 or 2007 are sufficiently notable to justify their own articles. As such, the following articles should be merged here: Liz Buchanan, Iona McIntyre, Madonna Mullen, Romeo Rossi and Amber Murdoch. Neelix (talk) 14:59, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with merging Madonna Mullen and Romeo Rossi but Iona McIntyre, Liz Buchanan and Amber Murdoch are all main characters in the soap opera and more improvement could be done to improve notability.Andrewmc 123 16:04, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is not a quality of an article; it is a quality of a subject and therefore cannot be improved by improving the corresponding article. If you can find secondary sources for these articles, feel free to add them. As far as I can tell, however, neither of these characters have "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" as required by the general notability guideline and therefore individual character articles are not justified.
