Season 16
Season 16, which was named Black & White: Adventures In Unova, is the same with the current season. They just added the word "And Beyond" because Ash and his friends are now exploring the Decolore Islands and not the Unova region because they have already explored the whole region. Please do not change it. Source: Pokemon.com (pls. see it for yourselves) 112.208.165.35 (talk) 17:24, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- New title. New season. I don't see what the problem is.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:34, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Except your wrong. The whole "doesn't really matter" argument is invalid. The official Pokémon site, run by the same company that dubs the anime, clearly says it is still part of Season 16. --Shadow (talk) 02:57, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- You know, it doesn't matter if it's the same season number. The fact that they are different titles makes it easier for us to document them. If anything, we can just call "and Beyond" season 16.5. Please do not unilaterally merge the pages without discussion, again.—Ryulong (琉竜) 11:30, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- You mean don't correct information ever again? Ok, that makes total sense. It doesn't matter if it's easier, it's the same the season and displaying it as two different ones is incorrect, simple as that. I find it hilarious how you go around saying don't change things without consensus and yet your the only one trying to keep them separate. Where is the consensus in that? THere is nothing hard about saying "after this episode the season title was changed". Nothing hard about it. --Shadow (talk) 15:48, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- There's nothing incorrect anymore. ANd the only thing incorrect before was apparently calling it "season 17" which is such a big problem that you had to take everything into your hands without considering this website's rules. The pages say it's season 16 now. It's just on two pages because the title changed in Japan and in the US. You did not need to get rid of one page just because we called one season 17.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:18, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yes there is. It's not "Season 16.5". It's still season 16, not .5 at all. And I actually did take things into consideration. "Wikipedia:Be bold (WP:BOLD) can be explained in three words: "Just do it" The Wikipedia community encourages users to be bold when updating the encyclopedia. Wikis like ours develop faster when everybody helps to fix problems, correct grammar, add facts, make sure wording is accurate, etc". I did just that. FIXED IT. The dub change is simply a change in the season name, but it's still the same season, not need to have it labeled differently when Japan doesn't even follow the season format. The titles were used to separate different arcs, but even so this arc in Japan is still part of what they called "Season 2", so the split isn't even technically made in Japan. And going back to your "consensus" point, you are the only one adamantly against this, so it's more of a consensus to list it how it was when I changed it. --Shadow (talk) 20:42, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, you were bold. And I reverted you, so now it's a discussion as to what to do. The title changed. People have been working on the page with that title for the past several months. Just because you've suddenly discovered that the production company still considers it season 16 and decided to enforce this fact on Wikipedia does not help things. It is better to keep the pages separate because the titles have changed in English and in Japanese for the same stretch of episodes ("Adventures in Unova and Beyond" and "Best Wishes! Season 2 Decolora Adventure"), regardless of what number the season is in the US. And just as I am the only one against the merge, you are the only one who has pushed for it, so because there is no consensus the status quo is kept.—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:55, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- There has never been a discussion. Every single time you come in like you are God and enforce your opinion. And no, it's not just me, another user started this whole conversion. And again I say, Japan's divisions of episodes are far different from the US. Da is still part of "Best Wishes Season 2" in Japan which also includes Episode N. Still doesn't change the face that it's still Season 16, not "Season 16.5" and we should have one single page like we do with EVERY OTHER season. --Shadow (talk) 23:36, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

- Quite frankly, it makes more sense to keep them separate. It makes it less confusing for the readers. Although, that 16.5 should say 16. The page explains clearly that the new title is still part of Season 16 and Season 17 (XY) is also clearly spelled. I don't see what the issue is. It would make it more confusing to identify where the new title started if they were all on one page.—cyberpower ChatOnline 23:52, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- "Beginning with (insert episode name), the episodes are known as "(insert subtitle)". Nothing confusing. It's just a change in the show's subtitle. I've seen fan sites list it like that. Granted fansites have far more freedom since they only concentrate on one thing. I think listing two season 16's is far more confusing. It's going to lead people to think they are actually two different season when they are not. --Shadow (talk) 00:14, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
It's just not necessary to combine them just because the broadcaster decided it's still season 16 for everywhere but Japan. Wikipedia isn't paper so we can just as easily have two pages and say "...and Beyond is considered part of season 16" as we do now rather than saying "Starting with episode X, the title changed to...".—Ryulong (琉竜) 00:19, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- It's not the broadcaster (Cartoon Network), it's TPCi, the company that dubs the show that makes the English seasons. Besides, first Season 16 page already has a note distinguish episodes in the Japanese version because it changed from "Season 2" to "Season 2: Episode N". And to wrap up other issues, the Dent and Takeshi episode needs to be removed because it is not a regular anime episode. It's even labeled as "extra edition" on the Japanese website while the others are not. This is exactly why we have the special episode list (which is also in need of updating). --Shadow (talk) 00:30, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- That's because everything just has to be listed according to the international broadcasts. Do you know how confusing it was to have to have merged so many pages together and eliminated others just because TPCi decided not to change titles until halfway through another show? Here, we have two different titles being used at the same time and you want to merge everything just because it's the same season number. And there is no reason to remove the Cilan and Brock episode. It's listed as an episode of the current season and not as a "special" of any sort. That list of "special episodes" is a piece of crap anyway.—Ryulong (琉竜) 00:36, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
