Contested deletion

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... I'm guessing that the editor who placed the CSD tag on this list has no knowledge of the genesis of these lists. I say "these lists" since there is a list just like this for every year that Playboy has been printed. If they feel that this list for this year should be deleted, then they should put together an AFD where the deletion of every list can be discussed en masse.

Getting back to the genesis of these lists... Back in the day, there used to be an article for each and every Playmate of the Month. The notability was written into the WP:PORNBIO guideline. After much discussion, the criteria of having been a PMOM was taken out of PORNBIO and these lists were created.

So, this list should remain until such time as the nominator gets together some consensus to delete all the lists. As the magazine was first published in 1953, that would mean a total of over 60 list articles. --Dismas|^(talk) 08:33, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
