Perkins outboard engines

[edit]

does anyone know of their history - they are not listed on either the main Perkins site or the list of engines. if all else fails I shall endeavour to fill the lacuna. I am only aware of their existence due to my family owning one in the early sixties.

any help gratefully recieved,

Corrections to table.

The 6.247 was a Mazda E4100 made under license in the UK. Only small changes but parts were not exchangeable. I've never seen a T4.107. The 4.107 was built as a raw water marine engine. They were not popular in boats due the oil leakage out the rear crank seal, and were a rare sight only 10yrs after production ceased.27.33.243.74 (talk) 00:04, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
