Universities attended outside UK - a correction

[edit]

A caption to the picture of the Earl of Bute on this page describes him as the only British PM to have attended an overseas University, at Leiden. This is incorrect, as William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, attended the University of Utrecht from 1728 to 1730. I have corrected the caption to describe him as "one of two" PMs thus distinguished.Cloptonson (talk) 15:30, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford MA

[edit]

What is the logic behind the Oxford MA dates included on this page? They do not tally with actual MA award dates, which have to be 21 terms (or more) after matriculation e.g. Theresa May's was conferred in 1981.

For the Oxford entries in the 20th century (i.e. beyond the scope of Alumni Oxonienses), the date given is for the BA. The date of MA, if known (as for Thatcher), is given in brackets with the MA. LookLook36 (talk) 11:13, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Should we include Rishi Sunak's Stanford MBA degree ?

[edit]

I think we should. 130.86.97.1 (talk) 23:15, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, we should, I don't know why we don't. I'll put it in. LookLook36 (talk) 16:27, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Private/State

[edit]

Should we include whether the schools attended by the prime minsiters are private or state? I think many people will come to this page for this information Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 19:03, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
