Hoax entries?
[edit]I don't think these exist. In Oregon anyway. I'm going to look at the contribs of the anon user who added these and remove them shortly if I think these don't add up or if nobody objects. Katr67 (talk) 18:50, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- They are real. CoPac used to be known as Continental Pacific Railway. I don't see the other two on the older references listed today, but I know that I've at least heard of them before. Slambo (Speak) 19:51, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Vitebsk Seaway and Continental Railway was a predecessor of CoPac. Slambo (Speak) 19:53, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Lincoln Central was also a predessor. Both Lincoln's and Vitebsk's reporting marks were eventually adopted by CoPac. I've got a couple older Official Railway Equipment Registers at home that list information such as this, so I'll see what I can find there tonight. Slambo (Speak) 19:57, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks for checking. Also, I can't find any evidence CoPac is currently running in Oregon? Katr67 (talk) 20:45, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Could these be fictitious entries in the equipment registers? I can't find anything about where they operate(d). --NE2 00:07, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
