Alumi
[edit]Maybe change the name "Old Boys" to "Famous Alumni" ?
- Old Boys I believe is the term commonly used in Australia as well as other parts of the British Commonwealth. See Old boy network. JRA_WestyQld2 Talk 00:48, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- In the UK and the US "Old Boys" tends to imply an old and rich tory (UK) family. I don't know what the wikipedia policy is, but the term is derogatory in the UK. 188.221.55.165 (talk) 00:52, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Lucky it's not an United Kingdom article? This is from the Old boy network article:
In Australia the term "Old Boy" is used to describe a male alumnus of some prestigious state and private schools. The term "Old Girl" is similarly used for a female alumna of such schools.

Merge
[edit]The two articles seem to have forked shortly after creation in 2010 when this one was moved to its present title and the redirect edited accordingly. They need to be reintegrated. Timrollpickering (talk) 16:24, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
