Type and quality rating of article
[edit]Although "list" is in the title, this article is more than a mere list and is to be rated on scale Stub/Start/B class, and eventually to be put up for Featured List status. See discussion at WP:NRHP for rating of list-tables of National Historic Landmarks. -- doncram (talk) 22:32, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- It can be rated both as a Start class article and as a List type in the Louisiana project. VerruckteDan (talk) 22:53, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- oh, neat. in other wikiprojects it is either class=start OR class=list. doncram (talk) 04:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Correspondence of photos in list article and in site articles
[edit]It's great that there are multiple photos available for some sites, especially in New Orleans. That's enabled having one pic in the List, then another 1 or 2 in the site article linked. However, I think it's best to be sure that the small pic in the list is one of those that appears in the site article, larger. I think readers will anticipate that they'll get to see the pic, now larger, when they go to the site article. It doesn't have to be done this way, and maybe i am being unimaginative, but i think that making them correspond in this way is better. doncram (talk) 04:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Importance of articles for New Orleans wikiproject.
[edit]Browsing Wikipedia:WikiProject New Orleans/Assessment#Importance rating, it seems that all the articles on NHLs in New Orleans proper, and in Plaquemines and St. Charles and some other parishes covered by WP NOLA, should be rated TOP. As NHLs, they have been deemed to have national importance. Seems perhaps TOP would be too high for all of them. So, say, rate them all as HIGH then. doncram (talk) 22:37, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
