We need to add to it. I arbitrarily created the template:

Tracer Ammo Ban

Scottie Chapman Blog

Is that blog post for Scottie Chapman really relevant for her mythbusters job, or is it talking about somewhere she worked subsequently? Include Medics in Cast

Anyone think the medics should be included? I know one named Sanjay was in several episodes and did speak on camera, so he and others might qualify BT14 08:20, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Australian Voice Over man

In earlier episodes of the show, there was an Australian who did the voice overs. These were not dubbed over, they were the original. Though the DVD versions have been re-dubbed with the current voice.

Alan Normandy

Ted Removal?

Ted is no longer on Mythbusters, he appeared in one Myth and is "dead" now. Shouldn't we remove his paragraph?

Guests?

I know the guest section looks for expansion, but it seems like the kind of section that should be wiped, not expanded. Many of the listed people are not in any way notable. I highly doubt anyone in the world will look up wikipedia to find out more about the guy who sold the mythbusters vacuum parts, or the guy who they consulted on elevator safety in one episode. I would like to hear arguments as to why these kinds of entries should remain. Until then, I am being bold and deleting them. Medic?

How about a mention of Sanjay the medic? He was in the Goldfinger retest and the Chinese Water Torture. I think he's been in at least one other episode so that warrants mention right? BT14 (talk) 07:22, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

I feel that we should put his name under the list of honorable Mythbusters. Not only has he been there for most of the season behind the scenes, but he has also recently died. This past week's episode was dedicated to him, and i feel it would be fitting to add his name to the list. sources for him having died:

"Earl"

Can anyone confirm how often the car was featured? Obviously in the exploding gas tank myth, and in the nose-drop to kill it; but was it used in any other myths in between? Two appearances shouldn't qualify for this article. TheHYPO (talk) 05:53, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Exploding Truck Tire happened after Earl's nose dive, so that isn't valid. I do remember Earl was used for "Boom-Lift Catapult" briefly (second test, where the boom lift was attached to the car engine still in the car), and I believe that it was actually the car used in "Biscuit Aerosol Bazooka" for the Myths Revisited episode (though I cannot confirm that). That makes three, possibly four episodes it appeared in. Incidentally, the gas tank explosion myth was only one of a long series of myths tested with the car in that particular episode; the entire series of myths was called "Car Capers". There may be more appearances I missed (I do not know whether or not it was the car used in "Beat the Radar Detector", for example), but those are the ones I remember. —MarsJenkar (talk | contribs) 18:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

I feel it is going to be difficult to know for certain. I dispute Mars statement, in that exploding truck tire was _shown_ after the nose dive, but were they _filmed_ in the same order? When watching many shows back-to-back, I see Kari/Tori/Grant in the same shirts across different shows, showing they taped the discussion for one myth on the same day as another, then added more discussion later. Either way, I don't see Earl as noteworthy anyway, but are you applying the same criteria for everything else? Over two years later...I just viewed the Exploding Truck Tire myth again. That was definitely not Earl; it wasn't even close to the same type of car. Plus, for "Earl" to appear in that myth, it'd have to be over two years of delay between airings (more like three, to account for taping). I don't know of any taping delays that long for any myth. In other news, I can now confirm that Earl was indeed the car used to test "Beat the Radar Detector", as I have also watched that episode. —MarsJenkar (talk | contribs) 03:53, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Buster conflict?

I've noticed that in the Buster section, in the second paragraph it refers to the remodeled Buster as "Buster 2.0", but in the last paragraph it claims that there was a second Buster, called "Buster 2.0 - not to be confused with the remodeled Buster 1.0". Dedication to Erik Gates

The episode Mini Myth Mayhem was dedicated to Erik Gates after his death. It can be seen immediately after the show's credits. Sanjay's dedication is mentioned in his own description, so I think it's right that we add Gates' as well. Someone needs to seriously edit the Frank Doyle entry

Disgraced? Really? Listen, even if everything written in his section is true - and the citations to references are few and far between - it just goes on and on. It doesn't have much to do with his appearances on the show, and seems to have been written by someone with a vendetta against the guy. We don't need a history of the lawsuit. Well, that was easy enough. These edits were a serious case of coatracking. This article is about Mythbusters. At the moment, the article states Boyle is a retired FBI agent. An extensive history of one case he was in some way connected to prior to the show is completely off-topic. If a reliable source discussing his connection with the show mentions the case, we might as well. No citations, but I do recall that in one of the specials, Adam did briefly mention that Frank was involved with the Unabomber capture, but that was in passing, and likely would not justify the excessive coatracking used here. —MarsJenkar (talk | contribs) 14:05, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

OK, I've got the source. It was the Location, Location, Location special--when they talk about the Alameda County Bomb Disposal Range (near the end of the episode), Adam briefly talks about Frank Doyle and what he's done. Adam said one line about Frank assisting with the Unabomber capture, but no more than that. Non-human cast

remove permanent cast member section?

Seems like the permanent case member section doesn't apply as the show is discontinued. Everyone should be in the former cast members (or now just "cast members") section.
