Production Order
[edit]I found the production codes in the series:
It is honestly pretty stupid in the Fandom wiki for the show (witch I fixed by the way) that they think it is US broadcast order. I DON’T THINK SO! Its production order honestly. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 03:33, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
For This List
[edit]Please be sure to follow WP:CRISTAL, MOS:TV and episode lists from modern Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network shows. We go by the US broadcasting order, and not Canadian broadcasting order. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 06:11, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
About the Production Codes
[edit]The source we currently have is a mess. Please give the page another readable source so the page would be less confusing, per WP:RS. Also, please follow WP:OR, as we don't use primary sources, and their likely WP:COPYVIO. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 21:03, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
Proposed deletion
[edit]@BaldiBasicsFan: I am tempted to remove the proposed deletion template, but would like to hear further reasoning from you about it. I have the following concernc with the template:
- You did not fullfil the point "Provide a clear edit summary indicating the page has been proposed for deletion" from Wikipedia:Proposed_deletion#Nominating m aking the proposed deletion formally invalid.
- You state as a reason for the deletion that the page has been vandalised. In case of vandalisen, the correct response would be to revert the vandalism, not to delete the vanadlised page.
- You state as a reason for the deletion that Pony Life is no longer a television show. However, fist of all it is. It aired on TV in several countries, for example in Canada. And even if it wasn't, why shoulöd there be no episode lists about web video series?
- You state as a reason for the deletion reason that the show only has one season and is therevor Crytal. However, the page claims at no poit that there is a second season. Therefor, this is not Crystal.
I would therefor ask you to either change your reasons in the template to more valid one and state the prosed deletion in an edit summary on the page, or to remove the template. Gial Ackbar (talk) 21:00, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Look, the reason why I didn't want the page is because it's only around for one season. Sure, there is a second season but the page is just too short, especially with the shorts.
- The list has been vandalized on the episodes, with IPs thinking that they want to go by Canadian broadcast order, THIS SHOW IS FROM AMERICA NOT CANADA! That is a reason that it should go by American broadcast order, but I guess IPs are dumb. Plus, one of the dummies removed all of the copyvio notes in the summaries, when I want the summaries to go by MOS:TVPLOT, about 100 to 200 words in length. This leads to more trolls adding summaries that are WP:COPYVIO.
- I know PonyLife is a television show in other countries, but the show is made in America, so it should be considered more as a web video series. I just want to get merged or deleted because of the length of the list, IT'S TOO SHORT! And this just makes it violate WP:NAD.
- And that also violates WP:CRISTAL too.
- And that's all I like to say. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 21:29, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
- Then put it back, and if the vandalism persits, request the page to be semi-protected, but don't delete the entire list. Also, I see nor reason that the same hidden message appears in every episode entriy, bloating ab the source conde by several kB.
- There is no reason why a list about a tv series is different from a list about a web video series. That only leave the point "too short". In that case, a proposal for merging with the main article could be made, but not a request for deletion.
- You give no reason for that.
- I will therefor remove the template. If you still wnat it delteted, either use Wikipedia:Articles for deletion or a prosel for merging. Gial Ackbar (talk) 09:34, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- Third party, but as someone that's frequently edited on the page, I'd like to argue against the points here:
- Although I agree that it should be American broadcast order, for now I think it'll be fine as-is with the Canadian order, due to the fact that it hasn't premiered in the US. You could also propose other ideas (for example, perhaps going by production order for now).
- I'm not sure how it being a web series changes anything. While I agree that the episode list as is is too short with not enough episodes, we also include the shorts and I think that gives it a bit more info, due to there being at least 15+ shorts. Also, allegedly it's getting a season 2, so if we do decide to merge it, then maybe we should make a draft so that it'll be easier to move. Another thing is that having all those notes just bloats the page, so I personally see no need to keep them around as they just make the page bigger but without anything actually contributive.
- Please elaborate on exactly how it violates WP:CRYSTAL. Just saying that it does doesn't help the argument or any discussion at all. JDB555 (talk) 03:44, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
