Murder, She Wrote: By The Time You Read This I'll Be Gone
[edit]@User:Partyclams - I have to completely disagree with your note, "Not a new MSW novel and has no ties to the Murder, She Wrote series. It’s merely inspired-by." By The Time You Read This I'll Be Gone, is directly a Murder, She Wrote book, its a spin-off. Jessica is mentioned various times through out the novel. Spin-off is a wide term, the spin-off books of the series don't have to explicitly follow Jessica Fletcher to count. I love Jess, and the series as much as anyone, but you can't deny it's a Murder, She Wrote novel.Chrisisreed (talk) 14:29, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- I would also like to point out, that everybook on this list is, "inspired by," Murder, She Wrote, they're spin-offs to a television show. Secondly, there are episodes of the actual TV series that don't even have Jessica Fletcher appear, but that doesn't make the episodes any less of the series. Maybe the page as a whole needs to be overhauled, something more on par with List of Star Wars books. Every officially released book should be listed, regardless of the target demographic. Maybe @User:Jayron32 who is an admin and a member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels can help us agree. Chrisisreed (talk) 15:05, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- It’s fine as is. I’ll add the book to its own section later today along with some background information. Partyclams (talk) 16:14, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
