references
[edit]when checking out the references for people on this list, need to see that they are truly Louisiana Creole people (or their descendants), not just French Americans who belong on a different list. I looked at some of the articles, and some do not say anything about being Louisiana Creole. Thanks Hmains 03:41, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- They shouldn't say they are "Descendants" of anybody. They need to say that the person themselves is Creole. And on that I agree with you. Mad Jack 04:51, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Armstrong
[edit]I removed Louis Armstrong. His family were anglophone uptowners, and IIRC geneological research showed his great grandparents came from Virginia. -- Infrogmation 00:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Organization
[edit]The names in the list need to be alphabetized and the references need to be made clear.Mcelite (talk) 22:53, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
