Issues

[edit]

Issues that needs to be fixed:

  • Add additional metadata where needed
  • Add additional product types

I'll continue on the list tomorrow, but have done keyboards and mice for now. The old articles are still available in the respective article histories. Bjelleklang - talk 21:37, 14 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

D: I expanded the Gamepad table and somehow broke the formatting. sorry. (69.112.75.89 (talk) 08:20, 12 January 2013 (UTC))[reply]
No problem, I fixed it like this. Bjelleklang - talk 10:00, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • It would be nice if the tables included compatible system versions. So - is it compatible with windows 11, or OSX 12? I guess it could instead be a link to Logitech software that can control the device, and then there could be a list of software which would show compatibility. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.12.12.254 (talk) 17:28, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why the old articles were merged into this?

[edit]

What is the story behind removal of all the related pages like this one? I'm not so sure if one page is enough to cover all these materials - for example, I don't see enough space to fit a photo of the product, yet along a gallery of photos. I know you can get them all by googling, but what's the point of using wikipedia to search for them then if you can't find enough of basic info? You can't post things the non-opinionated things like describing the product launch, sales, and unofficial support. I may be wrong about my thinking (that the articles were quite useful), but at least point me to the place where it was decided to merge them all into this article.
Faalagorn/ 22:27, 18 January 2013 (UTC).[reply]

The main reason was a general lack of notability; most of the logitech products just aren't notable enough to have an article on their own. In addition, some of the articles bordered on being promotional while most of them contained information easily compacted into tables listing the various specs. There wasn't any debate to merge them, I just decided to be bold and do it myself. The list of supported games probably falls in under WP:NOTDIR, so I removed them. If there are additional columns you believe should be there, please add them; most of the current columns were based on the information available in the old articles. As for the images, Wikimedia Commons has quite a lot of pictures. Creating galleries there are on my todolist, although we should have some images in the article as well. We don't have to show a picture of every product though, but should keep it to the most notable ones. Bjelleklang - talk 22:41, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

G11 Information

[edit]

The G11 has 18 makro keys and 3 profiles. It also has two USB Ports. Angelofchaos91 (talk) 20:17, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What about software?

[edit]

Logitech has released quite a lot of software, is there a reason they're not listed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.74.237.58 (talk) 02:01, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Logitech Quick Cam Pro aka C905

I have two of them, one near me. I have made a review on amazon and linked it. But just in case, here is the raw dump of its capabilities. It has 2MP censor and USB 2.0: Init. UVC Camera (046d:0991) (location: usb-0000:00:12.2-4.2)

Lots of speakers missing

[edit]

They had speakers before 2002. Why aren't any of them here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolven1 (talkcontribs) 16:24, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mousepads

[edit]

The list doesn't contain any mousepads, although Logitech make quite a few — Preceding unsigned comment added by FormularSumo (talkcontribs) 17:00, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Craft Advanced Keyboard and MX Keys data. Other keyboards?

[edit]

Few things should be adjusted (IMHO): 1. MX Keys comes in two flavours - MX Keys and MX Keys for Mac. The sole difference (besides model number) is their color. Both work well with both Windows and macOS systems (and have their keys with dual marking). 2. Both Craft Advanced Keyboard and MX Keys keyboard(s) do not have (exchangeble) batteries (like AA or AAA size dry cells) but have Li-Po rechargable accus (unknown capacity). 3. Both Craft Advanced Keyboard and MX Keys keyboard(s) support Unifying or Bluetooth connectivity (up to 3 devices total) plus Logitech Flow.

What about other wireless keyboards (e.g. K520 which supports Unifying, runs on 2 AA batteries)?

"Wired" being portrayed as a drawback?

[edit]

Why is every occurance of "wired" (for mice etc) labeled in red, implying it's a drawback/negative like a missing feature? 87.149.149.205 (talk) 11:08, 20 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

M575 trackball

This page is missing the M575 trackball 79.182.25.25 (talk) 14:36, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

F710 Titan Relevance

[edit]

Is the link to the Titan submersible really relevant to this page? This is mostly for listing the products and their capabilities, not what they were used for. I think linking it in the moment wasn't a bad idea to reduce vandalism but now that the media sensation is over I'm not sure it should stay there Mudkip2345 (talk) 23:23, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Broken reference

[edit]

The "Logitech G HUB" reference is (effectively) broken. It redirects to a generic page.

What is "Logitech Flow"?

[edit]

"Logitech Flow" is not explained in the article.
