Individual episode articles?

Has anyone considered writing individual episode articles? Many other TV shows have an article for each episode and those shows are shows that often run more than 100 episodes, so 40-50something episodes shouldn't be too hard. Any thoughts? Objections? I'll be willing to contribute a lot of material, I can do a lot of the earlier episodes while others cover the later parts? Yaguruma 17:19, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea, a new category could be created to include it. I'd be willing to write some of the episodes as well. We just need a certain layout that formats all the episode articles. Ideas? Floria L 23:15, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

See also section in article

Rather than start an editing war, I would like to discuss the inclusion of a "See also" section in this article. The reason is to link to the other lists of Kamen Rider episodes and vice versa. Since they are all lists of episodes from series in the Kamen Rider franchise, I believe that an average user on this page might like to see the lists from other series. It does not detract from an article to have a "See also" section and I believe including links to the other lists to be within Wikipedia's guilines. Any thoughts? But thats the point. They aren't chained episode lists. Each one is a seperate series, therefore users would never look at episodes that way. Not only would it be confusing, it be messy trying to decipher them when you've just looked at one list. If they were an ongoing series, it would make sense, but in this case, the series aren't exactly linked, so i don't see the point. They are indirectly linked through their respective main articles, but as a franchise, it would be nonsense if you attempted to link all the episode pages. No relation really. See Also is used for other pages that are directly relevant to the topic discussed in the current article. Episode lists from entirely different series with different characters, plots, ideas, and settings does not create a relevancy. Even though it is part of the same franchise, they are not the series. You don't see PR articles linking all 15 of their episode pages together. What would be plausible however, it to have one complete list of ALL KR episodes, and then respectively link to that. 1) Given the small number of lists of Kamen Rider Episodes, it does not seem to me that it would be nonsense to link them all. Of the 8 lists of Power Ranger episode articles, they are not linked in a "See also" section because they have their own category, which makes sense for them since there are 8 as well as numerous specific episode pages. Once there are more Kamen Rider episode lists and/or episode pages, then creating its own category and removing such a "See also" section would be the next logical step.
2) As far as being confusing, I believe that while not every user that visits these pages is familiar with the Kamen Rider Franchise, most are competent enough to decipher the lists for what they are.
3) As far as what a "See also" section is used for, it is used to include other topics/pages related to the article that are not already included in the bulk of the article. The fact these topics are not mentioned in the regular article format shows that such topics are not directly relevant, but are still relevant enough and can still offer something to a user reading the page. This is how they appear to used throughout Wikipedia. I could be wrong about my interpretation though, and maybe a third person and/or administrator can clarify.
4) Now in regard to their relation, if they were of an on-going series, they'd be on the same page divided by season like most other episode lists, and we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
5) I'm simply proposing a "See also" section to link the current ones because of the small number (4) of Kamen Rider episode lists. Is this the best way to link them? For now, I think so. But as we've both proposed two different ideas that would be better only if there were more pages, I think a "See also" section would suffice given the scope. Once more pages are created (I myself am thinking of creating a Ryuki or Faiz episode list) then we can use one of the alternatives we've come up with, and remove the "See also" section. A Category seems fine. Setup a category, include them, and proceed to make pages for other series that already have the episodes listed in the main article. Floria L 18:32, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Is 4-5 pages enough to create a new category? Not trying to be difficult, but I've always thought that Wikipedia preferred for there to be a somewhat larger number of pages to create categories so that there aren't superfluous categories. Though if there's no problem with it I'll be happy to create the category.(Guyinblack25 19:38, 7 February 2007 (UTC))
