[edit]After working on this for a bit in my userspace, along with additional help from User:Torchiest, I've created it here. I've added a refimprove template for now, as this article needs more sources for the guests. I tried to get all the main current and former members sourced. Most of the guests will need references to their respective album booklets (acceptable per WP:ABOUTSELF), but any secondary sources are always preferred (so long as they are reliable). I feel the article is sufficiently sourced to stay an article. The article was created after someone on Talk:KMFDM suggested that there should be a more comprehensive list of KMFDM members, as the list given on the main KMFDM page was rather simplified. Rudolph Naomi
[edit]So, we have Naomi listed as 1989–91, which matches his participation on UAIOE and Naïve, more or less, but he's listed as a participant on 84–86 as well. Also, at UHB I found Sascha saying, "Rudolf Naomi is my long-time friend and KMFDM drummer from '87-'90..." We know that's him, but I'm not sure UHB would be considered reliable. Still, I'd like to figure out exactly what Naomi did on that album, and when. —Torchiest talkedits 19:26, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
- Go figure, I had no idea he was on 84-86. I don't think forum posts would be considered reliable. So do we put 1984-1991? 1986? I'd think he was only involved from 86-on, but that's speculation on my part. I wish the credits on the KMFDM page were more specific. I'm open to suggestion...
- Also, thanks for moving the sources...I wasn't sure if I should put each source next to each year, or all of them outside the parentheses, and I'm happy with how it looks now. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 21:59, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'm thinking we could put "1984–86, 1989–91" (or 90, even, since he didn't work on anything in 1991, but was only included on the Split release by default). It looks like he worked on some early tunes, but didn't "join" until after WDYKD and DBYT. Maybe we could move the "1984–86" into guest appearances? —Torchiest talkedits 17:08, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- I like the guest appearances idea. I wonder if it's worth putting some sort of disclaimer: Rudolph Naomi (appears on 84-86, date(s) of contributions unknown)? Then add the website as a source. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 23:59, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, that looks fine. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 19:29, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Content fork
[edit]This list isn't long enough to have its own page. I think it should be merged into the band's page. Better, just keep that members list which is already placed as a subsection of the band's article page. That's enough for what it is.--187.13.93.84 (talk) 20:02, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
- I disagree. It's pretty comprehensive in terms of members, but it could use expansion and details. Compare List of Nine Inch Nails band members. The idea here was that listing all of the members in the main article was too much, but there are more than two dozen notable musicians listed, and that significant enough to keep track of. —Torchiest talkedits 20:25, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
