Page Review - Character Anchors
[edit]JoJo's Bizarre Adventure includes a comprehensive number of manga, anime and other productions which all refer to the characters listed in this article. The complexity of the narrative and huge number of characters created by Hirohiko Araki makes management of the information difficult. To help resolve this problem I have begun introducing "Anchors" to the characters so that they can be directly linked from where they appear in separate articles if required. Samples are in the episode summaries of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. I consider this will be especially useful if entries are added for additional characters. If there are no objections, I will continue this process, initially creating the "Anchors" which other editors can then make use of as required. Ozflashman (talk) 00:51, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
Dio Brando vs DIO
[edit]I think that a distinction should be made between Dio Brando from Phantom Blood and DIO from Stardust Crusaders/Stone Ocean, as the latter is a fusion of Jonathan and Dio Brando. --75.141.155.68 (talk) 15:02, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
You're absolutely right my good sir. People who cannot tell the different are absolute trifling troglodytes. I say, I say good chum that they should positively add that to this informational digital page we call Thy Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raine Murdoc (talk • contribs) 03:28, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
Creating Character Page for Jolyne
[edit]Hello! I already asked about this in my user talk page, but I thought about also putting this here! I'm pretty much a newbie when in comes to editting here, especially now that I'm now older and understand the importance of how articles should be of quality. I wanted to do Jolyne since Stone Ocean anime is wrapping up and female characters in anime and manga deserve to have more articles. I'm still learning on how to create and edit and trying to read the many rules and the tricks and do's and don't's, but I promise that I'll cooperate with you all and that the Jolyne article will pass the test! Also, I hope there will be some people willing to help me! Louisent31 (talk) 12:34, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Start by creating a draft article for her and then someone will come along and review it for creation. Josuke, Giorno, Johnny and Gappy also need their own articles too. FishandChipper 🐟🍟 12:36, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Will do! Louisent31 (talk) 12:38, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Also, if it didn't pass the test, is the draft still available for editting until it passes the good article status? Louisent31 (talk) 12:39, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Of course, you can keep working on it even after its submitted. Remember, no article on Wikipedia is ever "finished" so to speak. FishandChipper 🐟🍟 12:43, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you! Louisent31 (talk) 12:44, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

Should Giorno get his own page?
[edit]Hello! I created Draft:Giorno Giovanna but it was declined on the grounds that it was previously an article that is then cut to a redirect without consensus and that whether Giorno should have his own article again should be evaluated on the talk page here. I checked the history and it was pretty much full of plot and don't provide any sources and I think my own draft improves the eligibility of the article. So I want to know if an article of Giorno is warranted. What do you all think? Lovelyquirks1 (talk) 02:30, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- I think the draft you created was fine, the submission was declined seemingly just so that the decliner could leave the comment about the history being ported over FishandChipper 🐟🍟 18:45, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
Toru or Tooru?
[edit]I don't understand, but how do you spell Toru/Tooru's name? Two O's or one O? HiGuys69420 (talk) 13:29, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- Both are technically correct, but "Toru" is used in official material and should be used on this page for consistency (otherwise we'd have to use "Jootaroo Kuujoo", etc.) ThunderMite42 (talk) 06:29, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
Josuke article?
[edit]Should Josuke get an article? HiGuys69420 (talk) 13:30, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- If reliable sources like the one from the other articles are presented to pass notability guidelines.Tintor2 (talk) 03:04, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
on trying to discuss the wacky knife boy's name again
[edit]dio is referred to by two different names: "dio brando" in part 1 and a throwaway line in part 2, "DIO" (case sensitive) in part 3 onward, and "sakuya izayoi" in zun's fan adaptations
currently, both iterations are referred to with the part 1 name, but should his part 3 counterpart be referred to in uppercase? cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 13:29, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Rohan should get his own article
[edit]I think with the amount of media involving Rohan. ( Manga, Anime, Novels, action TV shows, and theatrical ) that he should have his own page Pic of the day (talk) 06:04, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- how much source material he has isn't really relevant unless an article already exists. what you should be looking for is significant coverage from reliable sources to write an article around. all things considered, i don't think that'd be too hard to scrounge up cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 11:48, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
