There have been Japanese ambassadors that have served in the GDR. Japanese wikipedia has catalogued a list of Japanese ambassadors to multiple German states from 1870 to 2020 that is currently up to date update (which also links to the German version of this article). The list includes ambassadors that served in East Germany. Although this is a template and therefore has no references, I have no doubt sources can be found to back up the existence of the page-less ambassadors. I suggest this page's list be separated into lists that correlate with the four states the Japanese template categorizes them under, including the GDR. If there is a reason not to include ambassadors to the GDR it should be clarified they're excluded from the list. SmallTestAcount (talk) 06:41, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
