Proposed merger
[edit]The individual character articles do not establish notability of the characters independent of the series. The articles do not cite any reliable third party sources and are just made up of unnecessary plot summary and original research. A verifiable one paragraph summary of each character in this article is sufficient. McWomble (talk) 08:56, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- To be fair most character pages have similar problems. (i.e. Uhura, Jack O'Neill, and Denny Crane.) I'd recommend improving versus merging. It is the most successful military drama on television. Dr. Stantz (talk) 17:03, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is irrelevant. If notability independent of the series cannot be established the articles should not exist. McWomble (talk) 12:50, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- There was info available for the fans in the separate pages. Like in all "good" series, there are those who watch JAG with a scoop on hand. I'd like to request to revert to what it used to be. Lambil80 (talk) 22:16, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

You Got Mac's Rank Wrong
[edit]She ended the series a full coloniel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.29.242.120 (talk) 23:20, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Probably means colonel. By the way, someone should change the following sentence in Bud's writeup, "He lost his left leg when he accidentally stepped on a landmine in Afghanistan...." As it is doubtful anyone would intentionally step on one, "accidentally" is rather redundant. Of course, if you want to spice it up and give more insight into the character, you could point out that he stepped on the mine while trying to save an Iraqi child that had wandererd into the minefield.Jmdeur (talk) 13:32, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
