Can we add Meher Baba?
[edit]I wonder why he's not on this list.
The article Meher Baba describes him as Indian mystic and teacher. Was he a guru, then? Guru is Malay for "teacher".
The problem I had was I didn't know his name for sure, only that he was a guru and it isn't here. The search wasn't easy and turned out to be less than intuitive.
Without a name and looking for a particular guru, i.e. him, was difficult. What helped me find him at all was googling for the guru associated with masts. The "Mast" disambiguation page lists "Mast (Sufism)" which redirects to Mast (Meher Baba). That's how I found him.
Can he be added to this article please? --Manytexts (talk) 02:10, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
- I think he's not here because he wasn't a Hindu per se, rather his philosophy as I understand it was a syncretism of various faiths. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 15:57, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

I request that Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas be added to this list and that of his guru Yogiraj Parameshwardas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhyanyogi_Madhusudandas Please be assured that the man was genuinely a yogi of high spiritual attainment, and most certainly a guru, as I met and became a good friend of one of his American disciples [sishya], Suryakant, aka the late Steven Johnson, in August 2003. I witnessed the effect of what Dhyanyogi had bestowed upon Suryakant 24 years earlier, i.e. that which I was to receive in turn at the appropriate time. I am also an American and have been a yogi myself since August of 1968, I have had darshan with Swami Sivananda and Swami Muktananda, I am what Sivananda described as a sishya of the bij, only the word of God is my guru and satguru. But I am also a protectorate of the Sadhan Order of Yoga, as being for the reason of the present work I am dedicated to, and was given vag-diksha under the benevolence of Sri Prabhu Ram Lal, whom I also request be added to your list. http://www.ysaindia.org/prabhuji.htm If you have any questions you may contact me at vajrapanee@gmail.com 2600:1700:A920:1AF0:C41F:CD71:6B23:844E (talk) 12:26, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Done. I've added Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas. Please note that people who don't have wikipedia articles aren't added to the list. Baggaet (talk) 13:25, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]why baba ramdev missing? 2607:9880:3908:16:AD51:BAA1:1A7B:A682 (talk) 05:04, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
- If you are referring to Ramdev, it's likely because no one has added him to the list. Primefac (talk) 08:26, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
