TV Injoke
[edit]- In "One Day at Horrorland {Part two} the end is a literal cliffhanger with the Morris Family trapped in their car teeterting on the edge of a cliff> Although the monsters watching the show turn their TV Set off, The game Show host is shown to have rigged the car to not yet fall off the cliff-until apparently the shows ratings go higher! {This is an old TV injoke of TV writers-getting high ratings by killing off TV CHarathers! {I.E. which is almost the fate of James Kirk in Bread and Circus!}
- PLEASE....whoever is making up this stupid crap about 'unaired' episodes, stop. The whole point of Wikipedia is to provide accurate information, and it's idiots like you who screw it up and spread misinformation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.161.232.186 (talk) 05:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Unaired crap
[edit]I got rid of the unaired episode section, hopefully the bot won't revert it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.76.98.121 (talk) 20:17, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok, who vandalised this??!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.76.84.61 (talk) 02:32, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
U.S. airings call it "Don't Wake Mummy!"
[edit]I wrote that "Don't Wake Mummy" is called "Don't Wake Mummy!". I'm not actually sure, can anyone find a the right source? --Hello, I'm a Wikipedian! (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:56, 31 May 2010 (UTC). It's called DON'T WALKE MUMMY.
Episodes
[edit]This list is listed incorrectly. For example, The Haunted Mask should be listed together in one part, not separately in two parts (as it originally aired in one part). May someone please fix this mistake.Fearstreetsaga (talk) 01:06, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Needless repetition
[edit]"This episode is based on the novella, "_____" in the original "Goosebumps" series." This phrasing is needlessly long and it's repeated under every episode description. It feels unnecessary and unprofessional. Wouldn't "Based on the "Goosebumps" book/novella ____" be shorter and convey the same message? Or we could have Based on: under the episode descriptions to make it feel more professional, because that would separate it into a subsection of sorts and it wouldn't take nearly as much space. As an example of what I mean:
*episode description* Based on: *name of book* (*name of series book was in, if applicable*)
I wanted to post this on the talk page because I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way and I wanted to see if anyone else has an opinion about this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.176.250 (talk) 14:05, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
hour-long specials
[edit]reiterating an earlier topic, I think it's true. "The Haunted Mask", "A Night in Terror Tower", "The Werewolf of Fever Swamp", "Haunted Mask II", "Welcome to Dead House" and "Night of the Living Dummy III" should not be placed on the list as two parts each but rather as a whole. Anyone agree on this? Visokor (talk) 10:45, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- After checking each episode's title card in order to confirm proper titling, I was able to verify that neither "Part 1" nor "Part 2" appears in the title of any of those episodes you listed. Thus, I took out the "Part 1" and "Part 2" for each of the episodes you listed. That said, I left the episode numbers as they were. So, although both "parts" of "Welcome to Camp Nightmare" (e.g.) have been combined, it is still listed as two separate episodes, viz., 5 and 6.
At this point, the only problems that remain are that the following episodes are improperly titled:

How the episode is titled here The proper way to title the episode, based on the title card in the actual episode "One Day at Horrorland, Part 1" "One Day at Horrorland" Part 1 "One Day at Horrorland, Part 2" "One Day at Horrorland" Part 2 "Perfect School, Part 1" "Perfect School" Part 1 "Perfect School, Part 2" "Perfect School" Part 2 "Werewolf Skin, Part 1" "Werewolf Skin" Part 1 "Werewolf Skin, Part 2" "Werewolf Skin" Part 2 "How I Got My Shrunken Head, Part 1" "How I Got My Shrunken Head" Part 1 "How I Got My Shrunken Head, Part 2" "How I Got My Shrunken Head" Part 2 "The Ghost Next Door, Part 2" "The Ghost Next Door" Part 2 "Cry of the Cat, Part 2" "Cry of the Cat" Part 2 "Deep Trouble, Part 2" "Deep Trouble" Part 2
- Unfortunately, I've been unsuccessful thus far at figuring out how to effect this. allixpeeke (talk) 13:50, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, great news!: I found a way to reorient the quotation marks. Now, every title on the list is 100% accurate! allixpeeke (talk) 17:03, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
