Revised Headings Structure
I have just finished a major revision of the heading of the articles:
- Level 3 (h3===) Character groupings headings covert to level 2 (h2==) headings.
- Character and Gang/Group (not groupings)converted from bullet points to sections with level 3 headings.
The reason for this is make each character or group appear in the article's TOC. I think this is acceptable, possibly even desirable, in an article dedicated to the characters of a series rather than a main article for a series. Especially in this case like this where there are a large number of characters which are organised by affiliation rather than alphabetically.
Of course, this produces a very long Contents list so I have floated the TOC.

Tidying up after the last revision any sub-sections for characters who have dedicated articles about them have been reduced to a "main article" pointer in most cases. Just in case there is some in the entry for a character which is not the dedicated article the old entries from this page have been cut, pasted into the relevent article and commented out.

Indented Text: The indented text in this article has worried me as I did not understand why it was indented. I now believe it was a device to give subsequent paragraphs the same margin when the first paragraph is a bulleted item. So I think I can safely undent the indents now the bullets have been converted to subsections.

Mugenjou, Raitei, Kami no Kijitsu and similiar terms
I am unhappy with use of the term Mugenjou as it is not used in either the English translation of the manga or the English dub or sub of the anime. This is why I am replacing it with the manga translation of "Infinity Fortress". Terms that only appear in the Japanese media are not meaningful to most reader.
Raitei, Kami no Kijitsu are also terms that do not occur in any of the media in English translation.

Fuuga
I have re-written this section by reducing it to the basic infomation and deleting the original entry. There is large part of the article on Kazuki about Fuuga. This article is getting rather long and unwieldy so I'm trying to eliminate any material repeated in dedicated articles.
As with the characters with there own dedicated articles I've cut and pasted the deleted section into a comment in the main article in case it contains anything not repeated that should be included in the main article.
Maybe Fuuga should have a dedicated article? Then again the Fuuga section in the Kazuki article repeated a lot of the character details about its members.

Characters
Excellent job; this article is really starting to look good.
I'd agree that Emishi and Sakura should have their own articles, but Saizou can probably be covered within Fuuga.

- Unfortunately there has been a slight backwards step by an anonymous editor who added material to the character entries in this article instead of the dedicated character articles. As it is relevent information I think it should be integrated into those articles before being deleted from this article. I've added comments to discourage it in the future.

- Emishi is unusual being almost the only major character (2nd tier after G&B) not to be part of any significant group or gang like the the Plunderers, Transporters, Four Emperors/Kings or Fuuga - despite hanging around with Juubei and Shido a lot.

Proposed move
I'm proposing a move of this page to List of GetBackers characters. I attempted the move myself, but MediaWiki wouldn't let me. The proposed title is MoS-compliant. —Dinoguy1000 00:33, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, it needs to be moved to fall inline with the MoS and be more consistent. AnmaFinotera (talk) 00:40, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- I just nominated the redirect for speedy delete per CSD G6. —Dinoguy1000 00:43, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- The redirect has been deleted, so I went ahead and performed the move myself, and have repointed all double redirects to this page. —Dinoguy1000 16:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Merge
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result was merge into List of GetBackers characters. -- Kraftlos (talk) 10:00, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
I propose all separate character pages be merge into this one. There isn't enough reliable independent coverage to justify these characters' notability; and it would be better to have one polished article then a bunch of barely-together articles. --Kraftlos (talk) 09:40, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
