Validity of Welter's inclusion in this list

[edit]

I don't believe that there is any basis for including Welter in this list w/ 20+ confirmed jet--borne kills, especially as Constable and Toliver do not even recognize him as having 5 or more kills in their definitive work, "Fighter Aces of the Luftwaffe" Schiffer Publishing, Ltd.; Revised edition (January 1, 1996). As such, I move to delete Welter from this table pending the provision of a recognized source detailing the confirmation of all of Welter's supposed claims.Joep01 (talk) 17:00, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A 10 victory tradition?

[edit]

In my reading for the articles I have created for WWI aces, I have seen several references to the fact that four victories were the earliest standard of success for a German aviator. This was during the Fokker Scourge days of 1915 - 1916.Georgejdorner (talk) 03:48, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
