Query - should base locations be listed withh "proper" name from the era? (i.e. Barnes Field vs. Barnes International Airport? TDRSS 12:28, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Good question... I would, but piped to the current named wiki article. Was thinking the same about the TFS (tactical fighter squardron) of today, but of era is FIS fighter interceptor squadron. I suggest we change the TFSs/TFGs/TFWs to FISs where indicated, since the article is about period aircraft not-in-service. LanceBarber 18:37, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
DUC vs DSM vs DFU
[edit]The 150th TFW articles mentions the Distinguished Flying Unit... but there is a Distingushed Service Medal wiki article. Is these the same medals with changed names or are they different? I am not sure. Clarification/help? There is a Distinguished Flying Cross awarded to persons. LanceBarber 18:45, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
