Several words listed in List of English words of Welsh origin, List of English words of Scottish Gaelic origin, and List of English words of Irish origin are not in this article.

What is technically Gaulish

I would like to enter the following, but i don't know how broadly the term Gaulish reaches. Do town and welsh count, or should i put them aside under a separate by-heading? Or, this page could be named List of English words from Continental Celtic.

town: from Old English, from Proto-Germanic *tûnan, from Celtic *dūnom.
welsh, welch: from Old English Welisc "British, foreign", from Proto-Germanic *Walhiskaz, from a Celtic name witnessed in Latin as Volcae.
